Saudi Arabia aircraft to attempt emergency landing at AIA - The Best from Greece

A Saudi Arabia airliner flying inside the Greek airspace over Kythira has reported a fire in its cargo area and is expeted to attempt an emergency landing at the Eleftherios Venizelos aiport in Athens.

The airplane had departed from the United States and was travelling to Saudi Arabia when the pilots noticed the fire in the cargo area.

The incident has mobilised the Eleftherios Venizelos airport, while two fighter jets belonging to the Greek Air Force were send to accompany the plane.
