l evidence Police said on Wednesday that one of seven laptops seized in a raid on a suspected hideout of the Conspiracy of the Cells of Fire in the central town
of Volos on Monday contained previously published documents including one in which the guerrilla group claims responsibility for sending 14 parcel bombs to foreign embassies in Athens and the offices of European leaders last November.
The laptop also contained a proclamation claiming responsibility for a bomb sent to the office of Justice Minister Haris Kastanidis last month but defused by police.

Of the six suspected members of the group arrested on Monday following raids in Volos and the Athens district of Holargos,
five refused to testify before a magistrate on Wednesday.
The sixth denied any involvement in the group’s activities. Nine suspected members of the group are already on trial.
In a related development on Wednesday, police seized a stolen Nissan Sunny in Volos. It is believed that the detained suspects had been planning to use the car as a getaway vehicle for a planned bank robbery.
