A citizen of Keratea, who wished to remain anonymous, told us that “the city’s sirens are sounding” and that she has observed “at least six platoons of riot police being deployed at the area around the road block” as well as the arrival of “various heavy machinery” that could be used to push aside the makeshift materials that the denizens of the area have used to make up the roadblock.

The increase of the renewed presence of the police seems to be of such magnitude, that it caused an unmistakable note of anxiety (to put it mildly) to seep into the roadblock veteran’s voice when she concluded:”Tell everyone to come and see what is happening here. Lives will be in danger here today”.

We will keep you posted of further developments.
