Book Hotels in Nisakion
Nisaki or Nissaki (Greek, Modern: Νησάκι, Katharevousa: -ον meaning "islet" or "little island") is a small sea-side village in north-east Corfu, which once had a tiny islet in its small bay. During the 20th century, probably with the advent of mass tourism, several tavernas were built on this islet and a jetty was constructed, linking it permanently to the mainland. The main village of Nisaki grew up on the hill above this inlet where a church, school, cafeneio and many other buildings are located.
Nisaki has a school, a lyceum (middle school), a few churches, a post office, and a square (plateia). Its nearest gymnasium (secondary school) are in Kassiopi.
