Description:
Aetomilitsa (Greek: Αετομηλίτσα, Aromanian: Densko, Denicko) is a village and a former community in the Ioannina regional unit, Epirus, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Konitsa, of which it is a municipal unit. It lies on the Gramos mountain. In the past it was known as Denisko or Densko (Ντένισκο). Population 304 (2001). It is one of the highest communities in Greece situated at an altitude between 1390-1490m.

During the Greek Civil War Aetomilitsa was considered the seat of the leftist rebels, the so-called "Democratic Army of Greece", because there its leader Markos Vafiadis formed the "government of the mountain".
