Roumeliotis to take over as vice-chairman in Piraeus Bank - The Best from Greece

Panagiotis Roumeliotis will take over as non-executive vice chairman in Bank of Piraeus from January 1, 2012, the bank said on Friday.

Roumeliotis will chair the bank’s risk management committee, while he will become a member of the bank’s strategic planning and supervise the group’s international financial relations.

Roumeliotis served as Economics professor in Greek and foreign universities and acted as minister of Commerce, National Economy and became a deputy in the European Parliament. He is currently representing Greece in the International Monetary Fund.
