Crisis killed 60,000 businesses - The Best from Greece

The financial crisis has led to 60,000 business closures since 2009, with the rate of failures due to rise next year.
 
National Confederation of Greek Commerce (ESSE), an association that mainly represents small businesses, said half its members says are now unable to meet their obligations are pay income contributions in full for their employees.
 
Moreover, one-in-three plan staff redundancies in 2012.
 
"2010 was a year of lost profits, 2011 was a year of closures, and 2012 will be a year of heightened pessimism and uncertainty," the association's leader Vassilis Korkidis said, presenting the ESSE's annual report
