Oenorama is the biggest and most important event of the Greek wine industry. It is Greece’s only professional wine trade exhibition concentrating uniquely on wine, incorporating both wines and viticultural equipment. Oenorama is organized by Vinetum every even year in March.
Thousands of wines from every corner of Greece are on display, as well as many imported wines, along with spirits such as Ouzo and Tsipouro. A separate hall hosts machines and equipment for viticulture and vinification.
Oenorama 2010 will last 3½ days, from Friday 12th, until Monday 15th of March 2010 (Friday 17:00 – 20:00, Saturday and Sunday 10:00 – 19:00 and Monday 10:00 – 18:00), providing the opportunity to more professionals that prefer Monday to visit the fair.
Wine professionals can enter the exhibition free-of-charge with a simple presentation of their business card. Other visitors can use their invitation or buy an entry ticket costing 15€, which is valid for the duration of the fair. All visitors will receive a non-transferable entry badge, which can be used to access the fair daily. (Professionals will need it to access the Oenorama's Wine Tasting Gallery).
Oenorama 2010 is taking place at the recently renovated Mediterranean Exhibition Center (MEC) in the Peania suburb of Athens. Access from Athens or the airport is very easy either by car or by metro/suburban railway. Shuttle buses will be servicing the exhibition from the Peania/Kantza train station.
We wish you a pleasant and successful visit to Oenorama 2010!
