Our activation in the food ingredients sector began back in 1969. Together we faced the difficult periods of high duties customs restrictions and many more obstacles, set by our

During 2001, with our scope towards modernization and comp-liance with the international quality standard in our installations & services, we invested in new private storage facilities with conditions of controlled environment and the latest storage & load/unload systems.

Pectin

AROMAT Hellas® in cooperation with Herbstreith & Fox, the Pectin applications pioneer and leading company of Pectin production in the world, guarantees an exceptional customer service for you and provides solutions that meet your product needs.

Pectin is a natural product extracted from vegetable raw materials with high natural Pectin content, such as apple and citrus. It is universally used as a jellifying, thickening and stabilizing agent, and is divided in the following categories:
Apple Pectins.
Citrus Pectins.
Combi Pectins: Combi-nation of apple pomace and citrus.
Instant Pectins: Produced during an agglomeration process (apple or citrus).
Amid Pectins: By the process of amidation
(apple or citrus).

The extensive product range we offer can successfully be used in the various applications:
Food industry: Fruit preparations, confectionery articles_ milk products, baked goods, beverages/sorbets, delicatessen household gelling agents etc.
Pharmaceuticals: Gastric dressings.

Gelatins

AROMAT Hellas® proudly provides its customers with high quality gelatin from one of the largest producers of gelatin in the world, PB Gelatins/Tessenderlo Chemie.

Gelatin is produced from parts of pork or cattle. It is a natural and easily digestible protein, free from fat and cholesterol. Gelatin is available with gel strength from 80-280 bloom and various particle size.

The function of gelatin in a system is often multiple and based on the action of several properties at the same time which are:
Water binding
Emulsifying
Foaming
Thickening

Viscosity
Elasticity
Film forming
Whipping agent
PB gelatins are of three distinct categories:
Standard gelatin
Cold soluble gelatins: Cryogel® and Instagel®
Hydrolysates: Solugel®, Polypro®, Peptein®
PB Gelatins offer a wide variety of application including:
Food industry: Confectionery, meat products, dairy pro-ducts, wine and juice fining, low fat spreads and desserts
Pharmaceuticals: Hard capsules, soft capsules, gelatin cap-sules, microcapsules a and tablets.
Photography: Photographic emulsions of very high sensi-tivity.

Polishing & Coating agents

Based on its thorough knowledge of the market AROMAT Hellas®, brings to its clients the best glazing and anti-sticking agents used for the surface treatment and glazing of all types of confectionery, from the biggest worldwide manufacturer of such products, KAUL GmbH.

CAPOL® and CAPOLEX® agents provide high gloss and anti-sticking efficiency. They are very stable, economical, easily applied and have a neutral taste. They are water-free and contain neither fats nor mineral hydrocarbons such as paraffin oils or waxes and they protect heavily stressed machinery parts from corrosion.

Both CAPOL® and CAPOLEX® agents are available in liquid paste and solid forms, and comply fully with EU directives on food additives and with national food laws and regulations in most countries worldwide, including Greece.
The main types and uses are:
CAPOL® Glazing: For chocolate-coated centres, hard and soft sugar- coated pieces.
CAPOL® Anti-sticking: For moulded gums and jellies and for extruded and moulded liquorice.
CAPOLEX® Release/Anti-sticking: Used in the production of high boiled sweets and bakery goods.
