Greek Artists on New Stamps - The Best from Greece

The “Greek Art” series, has been made available by the Hellenic Post. The series is dedicated to the work of renown Greek Artists whose biographies will be presented in the future on The Best from Greece, Culture and Arts Column.

Yiannis Gaitis, Nikos Engonopoulos, Yiannis Moralis, Yannis Tsarouchis, Nikos Hadjikyriakos-Ghika and Diamantis Diamantopoulos.

A splendid series was produced also back in 1977, featuring works by Nikolaos Gyzis, Nikiforos Lytras and Georgios Iakovidis, among others.

On the creative front, the new series follows a traditional, low-key approach to typography through clean-cut fonts and accessible visual art subject-matter.

The new series, which also includes a special issue of envelopes and postcards, will be available at the Hellenic Post.
